The ELBA project (Electronic Book for Adults) has involved three years (2005 â 2008) of European experience that has lead together several institutions coming from different European countries (Spain, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Lithuania). Participation in this project was a great opportunity for teachers and students to improve their English language, ICT and literature skills. It was also a great chance to meet people from different European countries, to know their culture and traditions. This was a real, valuable and precious âlearning experienceâ.
The ELBA partnership provided us with a possibility to grow years after years developing collaborative skills, tolerance and respect towards individual and cultural differences. The ELBA project has also drawn our attention to common human characteristics that all of us actually possess hence encouraging to forget our cultural and national differences. It started an intercultural dialogue and we all learned a lot from each other.
